By mixing fresh tunes in his own radio show on Radio FG, spinning his favorite tracks at clubs and festivals worldwide (Tomorrowland, Privilege Ibiza, Laundry Day, Summerfestival, Versuz, La Rocca, WMC Miami, Pacha World Tour, and many more), Dj Licious does what he loves most: let the music do the talking.
Producing his own tracks was only a natural step in spreading quality house vibes all around the world.
Together with his friend and colleague Maxim Lany he took over the main room of Culture Club where he is still playing today on Thursday & Saturday nights.
In 2009 Neon also was the closing act on the Laundry Day main stage playing after Tiësto.
His radio appearance influenced his dj-career: he got the opportunity to start playing at his favourite club: the former Boccaccio that was called The Temple at the time. One year later, he left C-dance for the biggest dance radio in flanders: Top Radio.
Then it grew bigger and bigger from clubs like Risco, Nut’s, Tomorrow, Karrewiel, etc. And making remixes for fellow producers Eric M (Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus), Pole Folder, Oliver Moldan, Tiësto, Vincent the Moor, Quicksilver, etc.
This young deejay started his musical career in his early 20’s together with his close friend Benjamin.
Soon enough they boosted many local parties and clubs.
Last year Joeri’s name appeared in the line up of jock stars such as: Dj Philip Michael Anderson, Dave Lambert, Dj Tofke, Tiësto, Wally Lopez, Sarah Main, David Guetta, Pole Folder, Danny Howells, Sasha, Eric Prydz, Felix Da Housecat, …
Meanwhile he’s working on his first record and scheduling many gigs. Neon, real name Stijn D’hont, was born in Destelbergen, near gent in 1985.
